Ready to Go!

We are finally packed and ready to go.

Karl and I have been talking about a trip to Thailand for so many years, it all seems surreal.  Kasen is tucked in upstairs (definitely not asleep) and I am checking some last minute things off my To Do list.  We managed to fit everything into 2 big backpacks and 3 carry-ons.  I was impressed since our packing list included more than 50 diapers and a life vest. 

The owl bag in front is Kasen's first suitcase.  It holds mainly toys, books and other plane essentials.  She has been rolling it around the house since she got it for Christmas.  Every time she rolled past she would explain to us the world that she was "going to Thailand".  It will be interesting to see how she handles the culture shock. 

We are not bringing a stroller or a car seat, but will bring a carrier so she can ride on our backs.  It will definitely be an adventure.  Here's to hoping she falls asleep soon (we have to leave for the airport at 10:30PM) and that she sleeps on the plane.
